Ching Hoon - Enid, Senior Occupational Therapist at Mindchamps, graduated from NYP in 1998 with a diploma in Occupational Therapy and went on to complete her degree in Health Science (Occupational Therapy) at University of Sydney in 2001. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Applied Psychology (Counseling) from NTU (2006). In 2013, she achieved her Post-graduate Diploma in Higher Education, April 2013 from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

 

Enid has more than 20 years of working experience and has previously worked at KKH, Grace Orchard School and other private preschool. During her time at KKH, she was the Clinical Head for Occupational Therapy till 2008. With the support of NKF, she completed her one-month training in chronic pain management at the Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne. Under the HMDP program supported by MOH, she went for 4 months Advanced Training in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and other hospitals in USA focusing on working with children with issues of prematurity.

 

Enid has been a clinician since 1998 and is a strong advocate for early intervention, strength-based intervention and building family resiliency. Enid enjoys and believe in working in partnership to assists parents and their child to function more effectively at home and their community. Additionally, Enid is a mother to two teenage girls, Lauren and Amelia. She enjoys “live” music, trekking and is a nature lover.
