Durga Munisamy

Durga Munisamy has 11 years of experience working with children with varied disabilities. She believes that every child learns differently and lives by the saying “If they can’t learn the way you teach, you teach the way they learn”. 

Durga is trained in the Orton Gillingham approach which emphasizes structured, multi-sensory methods to teaching literacy for individuals with difficulties in reading and writing, such as those with dyslexia. 

She is qualified in Learning Disorders and is Cambridge Certified in Teaching and Learning. Durga strives to constantly reflect on her methods and explore new ideas and approaches in her own teaching and learning context. Durga is trained in helping individuals with sensorimotor issues in the classroom environment.
