Farhana has been supporting students with various learning needs as a Senior Educational Therapist since 2009. She holds a PGD in Specific Learning Differences from the London Metropolitan University and is trained in the Essential Literacy Approach (ELA).

Also known as Miss Hana by her students, Farhana is an advocate for neurodivergent learners. She has conducted various talks, workshops, and shares on social media platforms to raise awareness of learning differences and neurodivergence. With over 12 years of experience, Farhana continues to work on her passion for students' motivation and self-esteem, and how they can propel themselves forward independently.

Till today, Farhana is passionate about her role as an Educational Therapist and the impact she has on her students, "Perhaps it stems from my experience where I was often ridiculed and shamed publicly in class by my own primary school teacher because she thought I was "stupid". Students with learning differences are often misunderstood, and I feel it’s important to have them continuously heard and seen. I believe they have their own sets of strengths, their own unique voices."
