Early Intervention Teacher

Joanna graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Child Psychology and Early Education. She has years of experience working with children with special needs across various ages, including Autism, ADHD, GDD, speech delay and behavioural issues.

Joanna is well-versed in the field of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy, and conducts home-based therapy session for children with different needs to help parents and caregivers adopt meaningful day-to-day strategies in managing challenging behaviors. She has also supported many children with special needs in mainstream school as a shadow teacher, helping to integrate them into the school setting. With her understanding of how behavior works, and how learning takes place, it allows her to promote positive social behaviors and work habits by reinforcing desired behavior and simplifying learning by breaking down complex tasks systematically.
