LUCY
TAN
Senior Lead Early Intervention
Teacher
Lucy Tan
Lucy took her passion in advocating for children with special needs to the next level, by becoming an educator in special education. She recently completed a Master of Education (Special Education) at the National Institute of Education (NIE)/Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The knowledge and critical thinking skills she acquired complement her practical teaching years as an early intervention teacher.
She believes it is important to continuously evaluate and discern evidence-based approaches and apply these approaches in practical teaching, to support the learning needs of children.

Lucy hopes to contribute towards inclusive education in Singapore, where children with and without special needs can learn, play and grow together.
