Senior Early Intervention Teacher Educational Therapist

Daungporn Udompornpitaya, affectionately known as Teacher Ling, is deeply passionate about helping every child learn, grow, and thrive. Her journey began when she witnessed a child being excluded from school due to special needs. This inspired her lifelong mission: to make learning accessible, inclusive, and joyful for all children.

With specialised training in trusted early intervention tools like AEPS©-3 and Brigance, Teacher Ling carefully observes and understands each child's unique way of learning. She meticulously designs customised worksheets and activities that cater to the individual developmental needs of each child, supporting meaningful progress while nurturing essential adaptive skills—key for a confident and smooth start to Primary 1, easing both children and parents through this important transition.

At the heart of her approach is Family-Centered Practice. Teacher Ling partners closely with parents and caregivers to develop practical strategies that fit naturally into everyday life, knowing that family involvement is key to a child's success. Working closely with educators and therapists, she ensures each child receives consistent, thoughtful support tailored to their needs.

Her sessions are creative and engaging. Drawing on her pioneering role in the MindChamps Music Programme, she uses music to inspire curiosity, emotional expression, and cognitive growth. She also incorporates calming and focusing techniques to help children manage their emotions and stay attentive.

Recognising that every child communicates differently, Teacher Ling adapts her methods to support effective expression and interaction. She also guides children in developing important social skills and emotional understanding—foundations that prepare them for success both in school and beyond.

A firm believer in the Growth Mindset, Teacher Ling encourages children to embrace challenges, keep trying, and celebrate every step forward.
