Valerie has been dedicated to the early intervention sector since 2012. She has extensive experience working in EIPIC classroom settings and supporting inclusive and integration efforts in mainstream preschools through the Development Support Plus (DS-Plus) and Development Support & Learning Support (DS-LS) programs. Additionally, she has provided academic and behavioural intervention for children in both SPED and mainstream schools through various tuition agencies.
Valerie is adept at tailoring interventions to meet the diverse needs of children. Her Diploma in Child Psychology equips her with in-depth knowledge of child development and key developmental milestones. She is a firm advocate of positive behaviour management strategies and child-led learning, believing that fostering a sense of belonging and emotional security enables children to reach their full potential.
